This rural house reinterprets traditional architecture through a contemporary approach, strongly shaped by its setting. Orientation towards the Serra de Tramuntana structures the project and places the main living spaces in direct dialogue with the landscape.

The natural slope of the plot, together with the client’s request for a step-free home, results in an elongated layout that gently follows the terrain and integrates naturally into the surrounding garrigue. In the daytime areas, large sliding windows can fully retract into the façade, turning the house into a generous porch and blurring the boundary between indoors and outdoors.

The kitchen, conceived as a large living space for cooking and gathering with friends, becomes the social heart of the home. In the private area, the en-suite bathroom opens to nature and features a large built-in bathtub, enhancing a calm and immersive living experience.
