Multifunctional building
Palma de Mallorca
2013
Multifunctional building originally conceived as a corporate office building and later converted into a casino and leisure area.
The project was initially composed of three unconnected office blocks. In the 2017 expansion, these volumes were unified into a single building by incorporating a central circular staircase, conceived as a sculptural piece of exposed concrete.
The architecture combines a contemporary image, marked by structural lightness and the transparency of glass, with elements of strong identity, such as the upper envelope in shades of red, which reinforces the building’s presence.
The two-level layout, connected by walkways and open stairways, allows for a clear reading of the routes and great functional flexibility, adapting to both administrative uses and more dynamic leisure activities.
The result is a versatile building, where work and social activity coexist in the same space, articulated around a central void that structures and gives character to the whole.
