Comprehensive renovation and expansion of a tourist resort in Cala’n Bosch, Menorca, conceived as a system of open spaces and paths around the water.
The project reorganizes the existing complex, originally composed of independent apartments, which are unified and redistributed in a logic closer to the hotel operation, in order to provide it with a more efficient organization. The rooms were significantly expanded and new common spaces were added, such as a restaurant, bar and other shared-use areas.
Outdoor living is a central element, with swimming pools, terraces and lounge areas that structure the user experience. The architecture is adapted to a domestic scale, fragmenting the volume into pieces that favor integration and comfort.
The intervention combines functionality, capacity and organizational clarity, resulting in a balanced ensemble, oriented to use and enjoyment.
