Ca Sa Madona

Santa Ponsa

PROJECT

Expansion of an existing house for the creation of an independent guest house, conceived as a complementary piece that dialogues with the original architecture from the material and constructive continuity.

The project is developed from an essential and contained architecture, where the domestic scale and the proportion of the spaces acquire prominence. The intervention pays special attention to materiality and detail, with a predominant use of lime finishes, which provide texture, depth and a direct relationship with the local building tradition.

The structure and horizontal elements are made of exposed wood, introducing warmth and rhythm into the spaces. The project is completed with integrated site furniture, understood as part of the architecture: benches, storage and fixed pieces that organize the space and reinforce its character.

The whole seeks a serene and timeless atmosphere, where light, matter and proportion build spaces designed for rest, daily use and the passage of time.
