In Bendinat, on the seafront and with direct access to its own private jetty, this former Mallorcan family house is transformed through a comprehensive renovation into a high-quality retreat facing the Mediterranean. The intervention highlights its privileged location, understanding the project as a respectful and precise updating of the existing building.
As the property is located within a coastal protection zone, it was not possible to modify either the original volume or the existing swimming pool. This regulatory condition became the driving force behind the project, which embraces a thorough renovation based on a new interior layout and the incorporation of noble materials and contemporary finishes.
The new spatial organisation creates more generous, open and luminous rooms, reinforcing the constant relationship with the sea.
